Foundation attends the launch of “Understand Me” for children with autism

The foundation joined the launch of a national initiative promoting awareness, inclusion and support for children with autism.

At the invitation of Take My Hand, Qanawat Alkhier Foundation attended the launch of “Understand Me,” a national initiative supporting children with autism in Syria. The initiative involved the ministries of Awqaf, Education, Higher Education, Health, Social Affairs and Culture.

According to the announcement, it aims to improve public awareness, inclusive learning and social interaction, and early identification and rehabilitation through specialist centres. The launch also announced the allocation of a new centre in Muadamiyat Al-Sham with support from the Ministry of Awqaf.
