Qanawat Alkhier joins a meeting on health charity governance

Board Chair Mohammad Sultaji joined a government and civil society meeting on coordinating health charity services.

Qanawat Alkhier Foundation Board Chair Mohammad Sultaji represented the health sector of the Union of Charitable Associations in Damascus and Rural Damascus at a meeting held at Damascus Opera House. The ministries of Social Affairs and Labour and Health brought together nongovernmental organisations operating health centres.

Participants discussed a shared governance framework, coordination with ministry strategies, complementary roles and simpler administrative procedures. The meeting also addressed service quality, sustainability and wider access to healthcare.
